Vodafone admits about several Governments having access to user data

Vodafone has published a new report that sheds light on a real-world scenario about government exploiting access to user data. India is among 29 countries that has asked the telecom major to allow lawful interception of calls, text messages and e-mails travelling on its networks. In order to abide by the law in every country, Vodafone has to provide a means for direct access to select governments without letting the consumer know or justify the reason. LINK
