BlackBerry Debuts Project Ion To Join The Internet Of Things

Smartphone maker BlackBerry is all set to launch a series of projects bundled under the “Project Ion” name soon. The idea of these projects is to use the company’s years of experience in making secure, connected devices to connect hitherto “disconnected” devices. BlackBerry vice president Alec Saunders launched the project at the O’Reilly Solid conference in San Francisco and has called for developers to build apps for this new platform.
