Nokia offers $100 mn for Connected Cars Fund

Nokia Growth Partners, Finnish company’s capital wing, and HERE maps service, have announced the plans to invest $100 million on companies working on connected cars and local services. Nokia intends to fund companies working to innovate in the field of intelligent and connected vehicles. Three major areas covered are – automobiles ecosystem, personal mobility and local services. Just like Apple and BlackBerry, now Nokia is eyeing connected automobiles and personal mobility to take a next step in mobile convergence and connectivity. LINK
