Micromax Crosses $1 Billion In Revenue, Inks Partnership With Aircel, Mediatek

Indian mobile phone manufacturer Micromax is all set to breach the $1 billion mark (Rs.6100 crore) in revenues this fiscal, ending March 31, says reports. The home grown manufacturer has had a good year with increasing sales and market share. The company had revenues of 3,168 crore for the financial year 2012-13.  In the one year span, Micromax has gone on to become the second largest smartphone player in India and currently holds about 16 per cent market share in Q4 2013.  The company also announced a tie up with mobile operator Aircel and chipmaker Mediatek Link
