Broadband Numbers In India Nosedive to 55M After TRAI Changes Definition

Total number of broadband subscribers in India, including both wired and wireless, has reduced to 55.20 million from 203.55 million in the previous quarter after TRAI changed the definition of broadband to 512 Kbps and above. The missing 148.35 connections have been relegated to narrow band connections and most of them were mobile broadband connections. Link
