Mxit, South Africa’s largest mobile social network, has launched its mobile instant messenger application in India. The service will let uses chat with their friends one-to-one and supports group chats as well. MXit has been around for years but, the likes of WhatsApp, Line and WeChat have overtaken it in the overall number of users. Mxit is popular in its home market of South Africa, though. The service is currently available in English and Hindi will also available in 10 different Indian languages including Telugu in six months. Head here for more.
