Cross platform messaging client WhatsApp has in a blog post revealed that they now have 400 million active users using the service on a daily basis. This is twice the number of active Twitter users – which boasts of around 200 million people. WhatsApp competes with the likes of WeChat, Line and Hike in India – all of which have been doing extensive promotional activities across the country.
